The external screen swimlane contains actions representing screen processes described in other activity diagrams. These actions contain a hyperlink pointing at an action into an activity diagram. These external screens actions only have incoming flows coming from MR actions.

• Rules

An external screen action must be named with the same name as the screen process.

Rules

• An external screen action is contained in « AS_EXTSCREENS » stereotyped swimlane.
• An external screen action has a behavior pointing at an activity with the same name as the action.
• An external screen action only has incoming flows coming from MR actions.
• An external screen action must not contain any outgoing flows.
• The « AS_EXTSCREENS » swimlane is required and unique in the whole activity.
• The « AS_EXTSCREENS » swimlane can only contain actions representing external screens
