To create a custom diagram you have to go on "Diagrams->Customize" and click on Create. A dialog box is displayed (see Figure 1).

You have to define:

• The name of the type of the custom diagram (Type)
• The base diagram type
• The abbreviation
• The category (optional)
• The icons

Click on Next to continue. A new dialog box is displayed (see Figure 2).

You can add a module for your custom diagram. Click on Next to continue. A new dialog box is displayed (see Figure 3).

You have to choose an existing toolbar or create your own one – click on Add Toolbar. To select existing one select it and to create a new toolbar you click on New Toolbar. A dialog box is displayed where you define the name of your toolbar. Click on OK to validate and on Next to continue. A new dialog box is displayed (see Figure 4).

You can manage a toolbar which only contains the required buttons for your custom diagram. To add a button you go to "Add->Activity Diagrams" or "Add->Activity Diagrams->other". To change the name and/or the icon of the buttons you click on Edit.

Click on Next to continue. A new dialog box is displayed (see Figure 5).

To define the specific properties of the symbols of the toolbar of your custom diagram, you have to change their properties. They will appear in blue font. Click on Next to continue. A new dialog box is displayed (see Figure 6).

Click on Finish to continue. The Customize Diagram box is displayed with your custom diagram (see Figure 7). Click on Ok to finish.
